What it is
A record made for one particular room
- Words and music
- Spoken blessings set against music written to be played quietly, in a room where something is ending. Nothing in it asks the listener to do anything.
- For the person leaving
- Made to be heard from a bed, at low volume, possibly asleep. Long, unhurried tracks with no sudden changes and nothing that needs following.
- For the people staying
- Something to put on when nobody knows what to say - and something to come back to in the months afterwards, when the house is quiet.
- For those who do this work
- Hospice teams, chaplains, doulas and nurses have kept this record in their practice for years. The Kit is being assembled with them in mind.

Before you decide
Questions people actually ask
Is this only for the very end of life?
No. Most people find it long before they need it - after a diagnosis, during a long illness, or in the year after a death. It holds up in all of those rooms.
Do I have to be religious to use it?
No. The blessings come from several traditions and from none. Nothing here requires you to share a belief with anyone who made it.
Can I play it for someone who is unconscious?
Many families do. Keep the volume low and let it run - there is nothing to follow and nothing to miss.
What is the difference between the album and the Kit?
The album is the music. The Kit gathers the music together with an integration guide and companion materials for families and practitioners. The Kit's contents and price are still being finalised.
